Day And Night Dogs Redraw

OK first off sorry sorry if this is late! But anyhow, THIS is what five years of practice and improving looks like. The roots of this concept? Well, in 2010 there was a fair amount of Day & Night artwork going around DisneyCreate, so I decided to give it my own spin and draw them as doggies. And before you say "hey neato shading on that old one though!" that was an effect that came with the digital painter... I couldn't shade to save my life back then. I always liked this concept and I really wanted to redraw a super old drawing, so thus I chose this one. Man alive... the anatomy has improved like a billionfold! And the grass and skies look so pretty! So yeah I really am happy with how this turned out, especially when compared to that old thing. And you know what? I owe all that improvement to DisneyCreate. Without it, I wouldn't be the artist I am today. Heck, I didn't even strive to improve my art before I joined Create! It was all of their amazing artists who inspired me and encouraged me that showed me that I could do more than I could ever imagine, and that I should always strive to improve my abilities instead of thinking I had nothing left to learn. So thank you so much, Disney, for making a site that would forever change me. I am proud to have my roots there, and I loved every minute of drawing there... bugs and all!
